On October 1, the Birmingham Business Alliance will hold its annual Small Business Awards Celebration in downtown Birmingham, one of the largest celebrations of small business in the Birmingham region. The Small Business Awards Celebration is a great opportunity to create awareness about some of the innovative and thriving companies in our region that make a significant contribution to our local economy.

BBA 2013 Small Business Award winners also will have an opportunity to be presented to the Alabama District of the Small Business Administration (SBA) for consideration of its Small Business Awards in 2014. And winners will qualify for recognition when the BBA nominates them for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s “Dream Big Award” at its annual America’s Small Business Summit in Washington, D.C.

The Small Business Awards celebrates the creativity and energy of entrepreneurs and small business advocates.  It is hosted each year by the BBA’s Small Business Council, which supports the growth and development of small business in the Birmingham region.
