All about the shocks – Aftermarket Restyling Info
Ready to open up a new world of performance with the right shocks? It’s a growing trend.
We’ve got the scoop for you to help navigate the waters for your new suspension.
We have, hopefully, seen the end of supply chain issues that have affected new and aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers, and everyone is rolling out hot new products.
The competitive market is good, which makes pricing easier to bear for the average Joe.
Performance shocks will always add a little more fun to your ride. An upgrade can add to better handling and more confidence on the track or off-road. It’s important to look at your goals and find the right shocks to meet your end goal.
Whether this is a do it yourself project or you are heading to a local shop, make sure you get the right tools and parts to upgrade your new chassis or spruce up the old. If your local shop is not offering the latest new suspension upgrade products, it is time to move on to someone who is up to date on trends.
When you start looking at chassis upgrades, start with your tires and wheels.
If the end goal is a better driving experience, then shocks alone will not do it for you.
Make sure you are considering the complete project before you jump ahead and blow your budget. Whether it’s a modern muscle machine or an old pick up, cover your bases and avoid disappointment or a vehicle on jacks because your budget is exhausted.
If you look around, you may be able to find a total package deal at a shop or distributor that will include the whole package. Lifted or lowered and in-between. These package deals will bring the most value, in most cases.
In the meantime, we have a couple of tips on who has the newest and best on the market.

First, Eibach’s Stage 2 R Pro-Truck Coil-Over Front and Resi Rear:
This is a great product, from a great USA manufacturing company. This set features 46mm monotube piston, hardened nitro rods which is a nitrogen charged floating piston design and has been extensively evaluated for multiple applications. Height adjustable with front threaded bodies. Definitely worth a look here: LINK

Another dependable company worth a look is FOX’s Factory Race Offerings featuring Internal bypass, recirculating reservoir bridge with dual hoses, finned remote reservoirs. Check out the goodies here:

Penske has been around a long time and has amazing products for consideration. Check out the 7500 Series shocks for hotrods and the performance market. These are a great choice for improved ride stability with standard fitment combined with custom internal build that match individual driver demands. They also have specific corvette offerings. Check them out here:
As always, no matter your goal…
when you alter any part of suspension you’re obliged to check your wheel alignment. All of your suspension goals are for naught if your alignment is not in the proper spec. Whether you take it to a shop (that you are familiar with and trust) or grab a QuickTrick that works for your goals, just make sure you keep your new upgrades as healthy as possible by completing the process with a thorough alignment check and adjust as needed.
Best of luck in all your DIY projects. Let us know if we can help and sign up for the newsletter to get announcements on new products, BETA testing, discounts and more.
